Energy Performance Certificates or EPC's as they are commonly known are required now on all property that is to be sold and are designed to give your potential purchaser information on how energy efficient your home is and reduce your carbon dioxide emissions.

They look very much like the graph you will find on electrical appliances such as fridge freezers when you purchase them and in our experience there are a number of people who do look quite closely at this graph. In most instances however your home will have double glazing, loft insulation and an economical boiler which are some of the main areas that an inspector will look at when assessing your homes enviromental efficiency.
